Welcome to the CROWE's NEST, pull up a chair and make yourself at
home. We are Doug and Paula Crowe and we are located in Rosman, NC
(between Brevard, NC and Pickens, SC).
We were blessed with our first two does Olympia and
Keeper from Ashley (Sweet Gum Minis), September 2009. We have fallen
for these little Nigerians and love their personalities. They are
loving animals and such fun. Cha-Cha is due in September with our
first CROWE's NEST babies and we are very excited about these kids.
Our farm is
growing, we have carefully selected our goats from CAE Negative
herds. We feel like our goats have come from some of the best farms
in the country. The lines we have are Sweet Gum Minis, Laurel
Haven,
Promised Land, Gypsy Moon, Doublegate, Caesar's Villa,
Rosasharn, Buttin'Heads, Twin Creeks, Goodwood, etc.... just to name
a few. We are learning as we go and are breeding first for
conformation and nice udders. Check out our Kidding schedule for
the most recent details.
We also are
in the process of doing some research and will be adding some
Myotonic (fainting) meat goats real soon.
